  • Odis Allan Bush, age 82, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016. Odis, the youngest child of the late Richard and Pearl Bush, was born February 6, 1934, in Sedan, New Mexico. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

     Odis is survived by his wife, Nancy Marilyn Bush and daughter Mary Lynnette Jones (Gale Smith) of HSV, sons Allan Bush (Martha) of De Queen, and Erwin Bush (Vicki) of Barling, grandchildren Jason Bush (Bekki) of De Queen, Ryan Bush (Tiffany) of Barling, Lanye Bush of Fayetteville, Tory Bush of Van Buren, Jennifer Burroughs of Jacksonville and Ethan Brocato of Hot Springs, Kim Cole of HSV and Tim Smith of Little Rock. He was predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Brocato and son-in-law Vince, and five brothers and two sisters. Odis is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of buddies and good friends.

     Odis was a retired truck driver, fleet owner and farmer. He loved his gardening, working in the yard, maintaining the home place, deer hunting and visiting with family and friends. He never met a stranger and was always quick with the jokes. He was a kind and gentle man with family, friends, and strangers.

     Memorial Service will be held at CedarVale Funeral Home, 200 Minorca Road, Hot Springs Village, AR. at 10:00 AM, Saturday December 3, officiated by Rev. Teddy Frye.

    Allen and Martha, I am so very sorry for your loss. Take comfort in knowing you will be seeing him again when that trumpet sounds. God will carry you through this time. Prayers for all of you.
